Morgan Stanley upgraded Allstate to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $171, up from $117. The analyst says higher personal auto growth and lower underwriting losses will drive stronger earnings growth in 2024 and beyond for Allstate. This leads the firm to be 21% above consensus on 2025 earnings estimates. Allstate’s capital position is also manageable, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
