Allstate initiated with an Equal Weight at Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley analyst Bob Huang initiated coverage of Allstate with an Equal Weight rating and $117 price target. While Allstate is looking to turn around its personal auto business and expand ROE while also managing capital returns, Morgan Stanley believes the low capital position and the recovery in underwriting will take some time to resolve and the stock is fairly valued, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
