Alimera Sciences announced the appointment of Jason Werner, COO, effective October 2, 2023. In conjunction with this appointment, Dr. Philip Ashman, previously Alimera’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations Europe, was appointed President of International Operations. Werner has served as a director of Alimera since Q2 2023. Prior to joining Alimera’s management team he has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of SightStream Biotherapeutics.
