Jefferies analyst Christopher LaFemina raised the firm’s price target on Alcoa to $48 from $45 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after the company reported better-than-expected Q1 EBITDA. Management is making good progress on strategic initiatives and cost reduction plans, says the firm, which believes “this is the beginning of a cyclical upturn for the company.”
