Mizuho lowered the firm’s price target on Albemarle to $130 from $152 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The analyst reduced estimates on declining lithium prices. Lithium prices continued to decline in December and early January, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says “still high” volume growth is not enough to offset price declines as electric vehicle demand appears to continue to decelerate near-term.
