Air India is near an agreement to order over 200 Boeing (BA) aircraft, including 190 narrow-body 737 MAX jets and 30 wide-body 787s, as part of a major fleet revamp roughly split with Airbus (EADSY), Reuters’ Tim Hepher and Aditi Shah report, citing industry sources. The deal is anticipated to include an unspecified number of Boeing 777X long-range planes, the authors note. Airbus is separately discussing a pact including at least 200 of its A320-family narrowbody jets as well as dozens of bigger A350s, the authors say. Reference Link
