American International Group announced that Christopher Flatt, currently Head of AIG (AIG) North America Alternative Channels, has been named Global Chief Underwriting Officer, effective immediately. Flatt will report directly to Peter Zaffino, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, AIG and join the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Zaffino said: “I have worked with Chris for many years and have been able to observe his ability to deliver exceptional business and underwriting results. With his diverse insurance background and proven leadership track record of success, Chris will continue to deliver tremendous value as our Global Chief Underwriting Officer.”
