In an interview on CNBC’s Mad Money, Wahid Nawabi said AeroVironment had a record quarter in the history of the company. The prospects for growth have “never been better,” he added. The company’s drones and munition systems simply perform better and are more affordable than the competition, he noted. “We continuously upgrade our systems” he said, and “deliver best in class.” He expects to book several more loitering systems contracts in the coming quarters.
