A group of activist nuns have filed a shareholder lawsuit to pressure Smith & Wesson Brands to change how it markets and sells its version of the AR-15 rifle, Cameron McWhirter and Zusha Elinson of The Wall Street Journal report. The lawsuit argues the company’s leaders are exposing the company to liability and putting shareholders at risk by the way they have made and sold the rifle, which has been used in several mass shootings in recent years.
