Activist Fivespan built stake in Qiagen, holding talks, Bloomberg reports

Activist investor Fivespan Partners has built a stake in diagnostics company Qiagen (QGEN), people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s Eyk Henning and Crystal Tse. Fivespan has engaged in constructive talks with Qiagen’s management, said the sources, though the size of Fivespan’s stake and its intention couldn’t immediately be learned, added Bloomberg.
