For context, Rocket Lab is a space launch company focused on small orbital rockets and satellite solutions. It is best known for its Electron rocket and its upcoming Neutron launch vehicle. Neutron is designed to carry larger payloads than Electron and could create a new growth opportunity for Rocket Lab.
Here’s what financial analysts are expecting right now for Rocket Lab’s stock.
Latest Analysts’ Views on RKLB Stock
Following its Q2 earnings on August 11, analysts have turned more bullish on RKLB stock.

Four-star-rated analyst Andres Sheppard at Cantor Fitzgerald raised his price target for RKLB from $96 to $122, calling Neutron the company’s “most material catalyst.” He also maintained his Buy rating.
Sheppard sees Neutron as a key growth driver for RKLB. Once operational, he believes the rocket could become a direct alternative to SpaceX’s (SPCX) Falcon 9. He also expects demand for Neutron to support higher margins and help Rocket Lab move toward profitability. He pointed out that management is targeting up to 20 launches per engine and expects each launch to generate $50 million to $55 million in revenue.
Meanwhile, top-rated analyst Michael Leshock at KeyBanc reiterated his Buy rating on RKLB, citing momentum from its planned acquisition of Iridium (IRDM) as a potential driver of the company’s next growth phase. Iridium operates a global LEO satellite network with more than 60 active satellites and 10 on-orbit spares. Rocket Lab’s deal with Iridium is expected to close by mid-2027, adding to the company’s long-term growth prospects.
Leshock also highlighted the potential for Rocket Lab to build its own satellite network over time, which could create high-margin, subscription-based revenue streams and add a new source of recurring revenue.
