Walmart’s third-quarter numbers are anticipated before the market opens tomorrow. The company is expected to report revenues of ~$146.5 billion alongside an EPS of $1.32.
In the year-ago period, Walmart had posted an EPS of $1.45 versus the Street’s expectations of $1.40. The retail behemoth is focusing on its eCommerce platform and shares have gained 9% over the past month already.
Home Depot too, is posting its third quarter numbers tomorrow in the pre-market session.
Analysts expect Home Depot to post a top line of ~$37.9 billion alongside an EPS of $4.12. Impressively, the retailer has now consecutively beaten the Street’s expectations for the last eight quarters.
Shares have declined nearly 23% year-to-date.
Further, Target’s third quarter numbers on Wednesday are expected to show inventory and challenges from freight costs weighing on its bottom line.
