Terence Tsui has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors surrounding Telia Company AB’s recent performance and future outlook. The company’s third-quarter results were largely in line with expectations, with service revenues and EBITDA meeting consensus estimates. However, the performance in Norway was weaker than anticipated, with declines in both service revenues and EBITDA, which offset some of the positive outcomes seen in other regions.
Despite the challenges in Norway, Telia’s management has slightly upgraded their 2025 guidance, projecting modest improvements in service revenue and free cash flow, alongside reduced capital expenditures. These adjustments suggest a cautiously optimistic outlook, yet the overall stability and mixed regional performance justify a Hold rating, as the company navigates through its operational challenges while aiming for gradual growth.

In another report released on October 15, J.P. Morgan also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a SEK40.00 price target.

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 10 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is positive on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders buying their shares of TLSNF in relation to earlier this year.
