Mizuho Securities has given its Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight Wingstop’s potential for growth and profitability. Despite recent declines in Wingstop’s share price, the firm sees potential catalysts in the near term, particularly as expectations for Q4 and 2026 are adjusted downward. This adjustment could shift investor focus towards the drivers of same-store sales (SSS) growth re-acceleration by 2026, such as increased ad spending and digital growth initiatives, including delivery and a loyalty program.
Mizuho Securities also emphasizes Wingstop’s strong franchised model, which limits downside risks to EBITDA and EPS. The company’s management has successfully diversified its offerings, reducing cost volatility and enhancing margin visibility. This, coupled with industry-leading cash-on-cash returns, positions Wingstop for significant unit growth both domestically and internationally. The firm’s price target of $320 reflects a premium valuation, supported by Wingstop’s robust growth algorithm and potential upside in unit expansion.

In another report released on October 24, Bank of America Securities also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $396.00 price target.

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 54 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of WING in relation to earlier this year.
