Alexander Perry has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that highlight Hasbro’s promising future prospects. One of the key reasons is the strong schedule of Magic: The Gathering sets planned for 2026, which includes several highly anticipated Universes Beyond sets featuring popular franchises like Marvel Super Heroes and Star Trek. This lineup is expected to drive significant growth, building on the strong performance anticipated in the latter part of 2025, especially with successful releases like Spider-man and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Additionally, Hasbro’s management is focused on sustainable growth strategies for Magic: The Gathering by balancing collectability with gameplay and expanding distribution channels. The company also plans to maintain a robust video game pipeline, with several games in development and a strategic plan to release new titles annually starting in 2027. These factors, combined with strong market indicators such as high event attendance and backlist demand, support Perry’s confidence in Hasbro’s growth potential, leading to the Buy rating.

In another report released today, Morgan Stanley also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $85.00 price target.

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 36 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of HAS in relation to earlier this year.
