With over 22,000 participants, the survey underscores a shift towards individuality in fashion, particularly among Gen Z and Millennial families. Key findings reveal that 80% of respondents believe making a fashion statement on the first day of school is crucial, with 40% noting that new outfits enhance confidence and set a positive tone for the academic year.
The survey highlights a preference for trend-forward clothing, with trendy tops and t-shirts being the most sought-after items (73%), followed by accessories like jewelry and caps (58%), and statement jeans and pants (57%). This trend reflects a move away from traditional shopping lists to a more spontaneous and collaborative approach, where children have a say in their fashion choices while parents focus on deals and trends.
