Relativity has announced the launch of Rel Labs, a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating innovation within the legal technology sector. This move is part of Relativity’s broader commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its AI-powered platform, RelativityOne. Through Rel Labs, the company plans to invest in new strategic technology partnerships and support existing developer partners. Additionally, Relativity will collaborate with The LegalTech Fund (TLTF) to identify and support promising legal tech startups, providing them with strategic guidance and access to its global network. This initiative is expected to extend RelativityOne’s platform capabilities, enabling legal teams to address emerging data challenges more effectively.

Relativity is also revamping its Developer Program, which will launch in 2026. The updated program aims to provide clearer growth pathways and elevate developer partners, categorized into Innovators, System Integrators, and Strategic Partners. This restructuring aligns with Rel Labs’ objectives by fostering innovation and empowering a growing ecosystem of over 50 developer partners. The company plans to invest over $170 million in research and development in 2025, underscoring its commitment to leading advancements in legal technology. Relativity Fest, an event showcasing these developments, will feature a dedicated Developer Track and sessions with TLTF, highlighting the collaborative efforts to drive industry transformation.
