Gong, a leader in revenue AI solutions, has announced the introduction of Model Context Protocol (MCP) support at its Gong Celebrate event. This strategic development aims to enhance interoperability within its partner ecosystem, addressing the prevalent issue of AI fragmentation in the industry. By integrating MCP, Gong enables seamless data sharing and context exchange across major enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Salesforce. This move allows AI agents to access comprehensive customer journey data, thereby improving their decision-making capabilities and task orchestration.
The new MCP support facilitates a two-way flow of intelligence, unifying the revenue stack. Gong’s MCP Gateway integrates external data and workflows into its internal features like AI Briefer and AI Ask Anything, while the MCP Server allows external AI agents to directly query Gong. This ensures that revenue teams can leverage Gong’s critical customer and deal intelligence across various platforms. Eran Aloni, EVP Product Strategy and Ecosystem at Gong, emphasized that this development provides customers with the flexibility to utilize Gong’s insights within their existing revenue frameworks. With over 300 members in the Gong Collective, including technology, consulting, and global systems integrators, Gong continues to expand its reach and capabilities, helping global enterprises optimize their revenue operations through advanced AI interoperability.
