Dataiku has introduced the Dataiku Optimizer for Snowflake, a new application designed to enhance the efficiency of AI and analytics projects for joint customers. This Snowflake Native App, available on the Snowflake Marketplace, allows users to monitor and improve their use of Snowflake services directly within Dataiku projects. By leveraging the Snowflake Native App Framework and Streamlit, Dataiku Optimizer provides IT administrators with critical visibility and control over Snowflake warehouse consumption and Cortex LLM queries initiated by Dataiku users. This development is part of a broader initiative to provide organizations with greater transparency and cost control as they expand access to Snowflake AI through Dataiku’s platform.
In addition to the launch, Dataiku has announced that eligible Snowflake customers can now apply their Snowflake Capacity commitment towards Dataiku subscriptions under the Marketplace Capacity Drawdown Program, available in select regions. This strategic move underscores Dataiku’s commitment to optimizing AI project runtimes and enhancing integration capabilities. Jed Dougherty, Head of Platform Strategy at Dataiku, emphasized the importance of providing tools that maximize AI project efficiency within the native Snowflake environment. Kieran Kennedy, Global Head of Data Cloud Products at Snowflake, expressed confidence that the collaboration with Dataiku will ensure enterprise AI remains fast, secure, and accessible.
