1inch Expands Wallet Functionality With Multi-Network Limit Orders

According to a recent LinkedIn post from 1inch, the company’s wallet application now supports limit orders directly within the trading interface. The post highlights that this removes the previous reliance on the separate 1inch dApp and keeps the process fully non-custodial, with assets remaining in users’ wallets until orders are filled.

The post suggests that this feature is aimed particularly at mobile traders, enabling them to pre-plan trades instead of continuously monitoring price charts. It also notes that limit orders are available across 13 networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Arbitrum and Base, potentially broadening user engagement across multiple ecosystems.

For investors, the integration of limit orders into the wallet could strengthen 1inch’s position as a full-featured DeFi access point and may improve user retention by embedding more advanced trading tools. The multi-chain support referenced in the post may also enhance network effects and transaction volume, factors that can be important for protocol fee generation and long-term competitive positioning in decentralized trading.
