Shares of pharmaceutical company NovaBay Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:NBY) are up in double digits today after the company announced the launch of the DERMAdoctor Comfort + Joy Psoriasis cream on the QVC network.
Additionally, the cream will also be available on DERMAdoctor.com as well as on Amazon beginning July 31. The immune-mediated condition impacts around 8 million people in the U.S. and 125 million people globally.
Despite today’s price gains, NovaBay shares are still down nearly 24% so far this year. At the same time, short interest in the stock remains sizable at about 5.5% at present.
