Remember yesterday, when we found that tech giant Microsoft (MSFT) had plans to put a lot of capital into artificial intelligence (AI) development in Singapore? It turns out that Microsoft is also backing AI development in the United States, as evidenced by a new connection at several American universities. But investors were less than pleased, and they sent Microsoft shares down nearly 2% in Thursday afternoon’s trading.

Princeton University, along with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and several New Jersey schools are all reportedly turning to Microsoft Discovery to fuel artificial intelligence development and other research pursuits. The results so far have been shocking; at one point, one user took on Microsoft Discovery with a “coolant prototype” that would have featured “…several months, if not years” of research and data. But Discovery dropped that down to around 200 hours.
Two locations so far will have the system in place. First, the New Jersey Artificial Intelligence Hub, or NJ AI Hub, as part of a joint project with Princeton. Second, TitletownTech, a venture capital firm in Wisconsin working with Wisconsin-Madison. NJ AI Hub head Liat Krawczyk noted, “This tool is really a means for scientists to be able to advance iterations of their research at an accelerated pace and discover patterns that would take humans a very long time to do on their own.”
Elder Scrolls 6 Development
Meanwhile, the game first introduced in the tiniest trailer ever back in 2018 has a few modest updates, seven years later. Naturally, this is a game that is still drawing plenty of attention, especially with its predecessor, Skyrim, still very much in play for gamers.
But word emerged that work is “still being done,” and there are apparently early playable builds already in existence. Thus, the idea that the game could come out in 2026, as some project, is not out of line. And with the Fallout series also getting quite a bit of attention thanks to the successful streaming series of the same name—the second season starts December 17—it is no surprise that some are wondering when Fallout 5 will hit. Apparently, that answer is “sometime after Elder Scrolls 6.”
