Disney (NYSE: DIS) Will Keep Hiring Freeze in Place

Following his return to Disney (NYSE: DIS), CEO Bob Iger announced that the company’s hiring freeze will remain in place for now while he evaluates Disney’s cost structure.

Bob Iger also stressed that it is important to make the company’s streaming business profitable instead of focusing solely on subscriber growth. In addition, he also urged employees to be skeptical about the future of linear TV.
