VivoPower ( (VIVO) ) has issued an announcement.
On June 29, 2026, VivoPower said it had chosen a global AI industry leader as preferred long-term tenant for its Mo i Rana AI data center in northern Norway, following a competitive process that weighed commercial terms, financial strength and strategic fit. The parties are working to finalize lease documentation, and talks have broadened to include VivoPower’s wider development pipeline, potentially extending the relationship into multiple jurisdictions if agreements are concluded.
The Mo i Rana site is a fully operational 41.5MW facility powered by low-cost, 100% renewable hydroelectric energy, with a further 40MW of permitted capacity that could be activated within 18 to 24 months subject to regulatory approval. Securing a marquee AI tenant for the Norwegian asset underscores VivoPower’s bid to establish itself as a key provider of sustainable AI infrastructure, while leaving execution risk around the final lease terms, financing and regulatory approvals that could influence future expansion and returns for stakeholders.
Spark’s Take on VIVO Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, VIVO is a Neutral.
Overall score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (losses, leverage/instability, and negative operating/free cash flow). Technicals are supportive due to a strong uptrend and positive MACD, but overbought signals raise near-term risk. Valuation looks low on P/E, yet fundamentals reduce the attractiveness of that discount.
