VinFast Auto ( (VFS) ) has issued an update.
VinFast reported that in June 2026 it delivered a preliminary 17,955 electric vehicles in Vietnam, bringing first-half 2026 domestic deliveries to a record 115,916 units, up 72% from a year earlier. The milestone marks the first time any automotive brand has surpassed 100,000 vehicle deliveries in the first half of a calendar year in Vietnam, reinforcing VinFast’s dominant position in the local EV market.
Model performance was led by the Limo Green and VF 3, which recorded first-half deliveries of 27,927 and 23,781 units respectively, while the VF 5/Herio Green, VF 6, VF MPV 7 and VF 7 also contributed sizable volumes. VinFast has additionally widened its product lineup by introducing the VF 2 compact urban EV, with pre-orders open and deliveries scheduled to start in September 2026, a move that could further entrench its share in the fast-growing domestic electric vehicle segment.

The score is primarily held down by very weak financial performance—deeply negative margins, widening losses, persistent cash burn, and materially negative equity indicating high funding/solvency risk.
