The latest announcement is out from Treatt plc ( (GB:TET) ).

Treatt plc and Döhler Finance Management B.V., a subsidiary of Döhler Group SE, are progressing a recommended cash acquisition of Treatt at 305 pence per share, alongside the previously announced 3 pence final dividend. The deal is being implemented through a UK court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement, reflecting continued consolidation in the specialty ingredients sector as larger groups seek to expand their flavour and fragrance portfolios.

The companies have secured antitrust approvals in Ireland, Austria and the United States, satisfying key regulatory conditions for completion of the transaction. The court sanction hearing is scheduled for 30 June 2026, with the scheme expected to become effective on 2 July 2026, after which Treatt’s shares will be suspended and delisted from the London Stock Exchange, ending its status as a publicly traded company and crystallising value for existing shareholders.

Spark’s Take on TET Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TET is a Neutral.

The score is driven mainly by mixed financial performance: a very strong, low-leverage balance sheet offsets a notable FY2025 profitability reset and weaker/volatile free cash flow. Technicals are supportive due to a strong uptrend, but the very high RSI increases near-term reversal risk. Valuation is a headwind given the high P/E and only modest dividend yield.
