Teradyne ( (TER) ) has provided an announcement.
On August 7, 2026, Teradyne, Inc. entered into a five-year, senior secured revolving credit facility of $1.0 billion with a bank syndicate led by PNC Bank, providing additional liquidity for working capital and general corporate purposes while no funds have yet been drawn. The facility carries variable interest based on leverage ratios or debt ratings, includes commitment fees on undrawn amounts, and is guaranteed and secured by certain domestic and foreign subsidiary assets, with covenants and collateral that can be suspended or reinstated depending on the company’s future credit ratings.
The Credit Agreement imposes customary financial and operational covenants, including maximum consolidated leverage and, outside of investment grade periods, minimum interest coverage requirements, alongside limits on asset sales, new indebtedness and restricted payments. These terms structure Teradyne’s balance sheet flexibility and risk profile, allowing the company to benefit from lighter covenant and collateral burdens if it attains and maintains investment grade ratings, while providing lenders with reinstated protections if its ratings are downgraded.
The most recent analyst rating on (TER) stock is a Buy
with a $465.00 price target.
