Stantec to Design Major UK Battery Factory

Stantec (TSE:STN) has released an update.

Stantec has been appointed to design Agratas’ new £4 billion battery manufacturing facility in the UK, poised to generate up to 4,000 direct jobs and support the country’s shift to green energy. The facility, one of Europe’s largest, will produce sustainable battery cells for electric vehicles and energy storage, representing a significant boost to the UK’s advanced manufacturing sector. Stantec’s role will encompass a comprehensive range of services, from architecture to engineering, aiding in the development of this state-of-the-art factory.
