The latest update is out from Soulpower Acquisition Corp. Class A ( (SOUL) ).
Soulpower Acquisition Corporation, SWB Holdings and SWB LLC are pursuing a business combination that would establish SOUL WORLD BANK as a licensed international financial institution backed by a sizable asset portfolio and positioned to engage in global financial services. SWB Holdings is intended to become the publicly traded holding company for these operations following the transaction’s closing.
On July 23, 2026, the Commercial Division of the High Court of Justice of the Virgin Islands approved the joint liquidators of Bank of Asia (BVI) Limited to sell certain bank assets to SWB LLC, satisfying a key condition of a November 6, 2025 asset sale agreement tied to the proposed business combination. The deal still depends on additional regulatory clearances, including a BVI banking license and deposit insurance membership for SWB, as well as shareholder approval, leaving crucial execution and timing risks for investors and other stakeholders.
