The twentieth series RSUs cover eight directors with awards that fully vest after nine years of continuous board service, reinforcing long-term alignment at the top governance level.

The twenty-first series RSUs, corresponding to up to 1,244,188 shares, are allocated to 14 senior leaders and staff, including corporate executive officers and key subsidiary directors, and vest over three years, with pro-rata vesting permitted for justified departures. The twenty-second series RSUs extend equity incentives to 434 employees and officers at group companies, covering up to 1,975,856 shares that vest in three annual tranches over three years, signaling a broad-based effort to use stock-based pay to retain talent and strengthen cohesion across Sony’s global operations.

Spark’s Take on SONY Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SONY is a Neutral.

The score is driven primarily by mixed financial performance: solid revenue growth, improving margins, healthy leverage, and positive cash generation are offset by the latest-year net loss and lower free cash flow. Technicals are a secondary drag due to a clear downtrend below major moving averages. Valuation is also pressured because the negative P/E reflects losses and the dividend yield is modest.
