Smartoptics, an optical networking solutions provider, has been chosen by ASOM-Net, a Danish non-profit ISP with 75,000 subscribers, for a cost-efficient 400G disaggregated optical networking project. Leveraging Smartoptics technology alongside IP Infusion’s platform and Edgecore switches, ASOM-Net aims to deliver high-quality, low-cost services to members while benefiting from a reduced total cost of ownership. The collaboration exemplifies the shift towards flexible, open networking architectures in the industry, enhancing efficiency and reducing expenditure.
