Santander Reports Database Security Breach

Banco Santander SA has reported unauthorized access to a customer database managed by a third-party provider, affecting clients in Chile, Spain, and Uruguay, as well as some current and former employees. The bank has assured that no transactional data or login credentials were compromised, and operations remain secure. Affected parties are being contacted, and regulatory authorities have been informed.
