Sandoz Group Ltd ( (CH:SDZ) ) has provided an update.
Sandoz reported first-quarter 2026 net sales of USD 2.76 billion, up 3% at constant currencies, with biosimilars growing 18% while generics declined 3% amid pressure in its anti-infective business-to-business segment. Growth was strongest in North America, where net sales rose 12% at constant currencies on exceptional biosimilar performance, and the company reiterated its full-year outlook for mid-to-high single-digit sales growth and around 100 basis points of core EBITDA-margin expansion.
Strategically, Sandoz deepened its biosimilar push through a new partnership with Samsung Bioepis covering up to five assets, regulatory tailwinds from the EMA’s streamlined biosimilar requirements, and label and approval expansions for ophthalmology products Enzeevu and Ranluspec that support planned launches in the U.S. and Europe. The group also refinanced maturing debt with two CHF 275 million bond issues and welcomed a U.S. decision to exclude generics and biosimilars from potential tariffs, moves that together underpin its effort to strengthen balance sheet flexibility and solidify its positioning in the expanding global biosimilars market.
The most recent analyst rating on (CH:SDZ) stock is a Buy with a CHF74.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Sandoz Group Ltd stock, see the CH:SDZ Stock Forecast page.
