Retractable Technologies (RVP) has released an update.
On February 5, 2024, a company announced a recall for over 477,600 units of its EasyPoint Needle due to a defect that could cause the needle to detach, posing a serious injury risk. The affected lot was distributed across the U.S. between July 2022 and September 2023. The company is actively coordinating with customers and distributors to recover any unused products, has halted distribution, and is working with the FDA on the recall process.
