Nouveau Monde Mining (TSE:NOU) has released an update.
Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. has completed a significant financing milestone by closing a US$50 million private placement with industry giants GM and Panasonic, each investing US$25 million. The funds will fuel the expansion of NMG’s Phase-2 operations, including the Matawinie Mine and Bécancour Battery Material Plant, to meet battery industry demands. The company also plans a subsequent private placement for US$37.5 million, pending regulatory approval and the fulfillment of minority protection regulations.
