The latest update is out from NioCorp Developments ( (NB) ).

NioCorp Developments has released an updated feasibility study for its Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project, outlining a 40-year integrated U.S. mining and processing operation expected to produce eight critical mineral products from a single ore body. The study projects life-of-mine revenue of $37.4 billion, average annual EBITDA of $608 million and a pre-tax NPV of $4.1 billion, supported by 45.9 million tons of proven and probable reserves.

The expanded product slate, including ferroniobium, scandium trioxide, titanium tetrachloride and several rare earth oxides and carbonates, is expected to generate about $815 per ton of ore against average operating costs of $255 per ton. By offering a diversified revenue stream and domestic supply of minerals currently imported, largely from China-dominated supply chains, the project is positioned to reduce U.S. import reliance and advance to detailed engineering and EPC contracting once key due diligence requirements are met.

Spark’s Take on NB Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, NB is a Neutral.

The score is primarily constrained by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening TTM losses, and persistent negative free cash flow) and bearish technicals (price below key moving averages with negative MACD). Valuation support is limited due to negative earnings and no dividend yield, while the recent compensation-related corporate event is modestly impactful and mixed in its implications for cash discipline.
