NextEra Energy Welcomes New CFO, Bolsters Executive Team

NextEra Energy Inc. (NEE) just unveiled an announcement.

On May 6, 2024, T. Kirk Crews II transitioned to the role of Chief Risk Officer at NextEra Energy, while Brian W. Bolster took over as the new CFO, bringing nearly 25 years of Goldman Sachs experience. Bolster’s fiscal year 2024 compensation includes a $950,000 base salary, a target bonus of 70% of his salary, and $3.4 million in equity awards, with a mix of performance shares and restricted stock. Additionally, he received a $1.5 million sign-on bonus and various executive benefits, including severance and retirement plan enhancements. Bolster also became the CFO of Florida Power & Light Company, taking over from Mr. Crews.
