Melrose Industries Plc has announced the purchase of 361,299 of its own ordinary shares, at prices ranging between 630.8000 and 639.8000 pence per share, with a weighted average of 636.1775 pence. The acquired shares are to be held in treasury, bringing the total number of treasury-held shares to 41,667,771. The transaction, handled through J.P. Morgan Securities plc, is part of the company’s share buyback program.
