Kingsgate Consolidated Limited ( (AU:KCN) ) has issued an update.
Kingsgate has provided an operational update on remediation works at Plant 1 at the Chatree Gold Mine, where a modified circuit has enabled the plant to restart with the Ball Mill isolated and SAG Mill 1 running in closed circuit. These short-term measures have restored about half of Plant 1’s normal processing capacity, lifting total Chatree throughput to more than 4 million tonnes per annum while repairs are fast tracked.
Remediation of Ball Mill 1 is progressing with bearings removed and sent for refurbishment in Thailand, replacement lubrication components procured, and system audits underway with support from Metso and specialist contractors. Mining operations remain uninterrupted, with mine sequencing and stockpile management being optimised to maximise head grades for the reduced Plant 1 capacity and fully operational Plant 2, helping sustain production performance during the repair period and beyond.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:KCN) stock is a Hold
with a A$6.45 price target.
