Horizon Copper Corp. has announced that its shareholders and warrantholders have approved a plan of arrangement with Royal Gold, Inc. and its subsidiary, International Royalty Corporation. This arrangement will see Royal Gold acquire all of Horizon’s issued and outstanding shares and warrants, excluding those held by Sandstorm Gold Ltd. The transaction, which received overwhelming approval from the securityholders, is expected to be completed by October 20, 2025, pending customary closing conditions and court approval. Following the transaction, Horizon Copper plans to delist from the TSX Venture Exchange and cease being a reporting issuer in Canada.
