Goldgroup Mining Inc. has announced positive outcomes from its latest surface exploration efforts at the Cerro Prieto gold mine in Sonora, Mexico, a 100% company-owned open-pit heap leach operation. Since beginning operations in 2013, the mine has consistently produced gold, with current output at 1,000 to 1,200 ounces monthly. Recent explorations have revealed significant new mineralization zones along the Cerro Prieto Shear, promising for the mine’s future production.
