Global Lithium Resources Ltd. ( (AU:GL1) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Global Lithium Resources has agreed to acquire 100% of IGO Nova Pty Ltd, owner of the Nova Operation in Western Australia, for A$7 million, in a deal it describes as strategic and transformative. The Nova asset includes a 1.8Mtpa concentrator and extensive infrastructure that GL1 plans to convert for processing ore from its Manna Lithium Project, potentially replacing the need for a greenfield plant.
The company will launch a Manna-Nova Integration Study this quarter to refine the development pathway and project economics, aiming to commence spodumene concentrate production within 12 months. A planned Direct Shipping Ore operation using Nova’s crushing facilities is expected to generate early cashflow and fund much of the pre-production capital, reducing external funding needs while seeking to capture a forecast upswing in lithium demand from 2027.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:GL1) stock is a Buy
with a A$1.75 price target.
