Frontier Lithium (TSE:FL) has released an update.
Frontier Lithium Inc. has finalized the first phase of a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation, securing a CAD $25 million investment for a 7.5% stake in their PAK Lithium Project, aimed at establishing a fully integrated lithium operation in Ontario. This partnership is pivotal for Frontier’s strategy to become a key player in the North American EV battery supply chain, with plans to complete a Definitive Feasibility Study by 2025. The collaboration, which is part of a broader Canada-Japan effort to strengthen battery supply chains, grants Mitsubishi the option to increase its stake up to 25% post-study.
