Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has continued its share repurchase strategy, announcing the acquisition of 1,280,000 of its own shares, which will now be held in treasury. This move is part of the company’s 2023-2024 share buyback programme and is in line with previous announcements regarding the repurchase plan and partnership with BNP Paribas Financial Markets S.N.C. Since the program’s inception, Centrica has bought back over 210 million shares, investing close to £294 million.
