Capstone Copper Corp. has announced the successful start of commercial production at its Mantoverde Development Project, coupled with a leadership transition plan set for its next Annual General Meeting. The MVDP’s operation reaching 75% of its nameplate throughput marks a significant corporate milestone, as the company prepares for strong fourth quarter performance despite a trend toward the lower end of its annual copper production guidance. Concurrently, Capstone is implementing a leadership succession, with CEO John MacKenzie moving to Non-Executive Chair and Cashel Meagher stepping up as the new CEO.
