BT Group PLC has announced a significant shift in its shareholder structure with the notification of major voting rights acquisitions. CONTROL EMPRESARIAL DE CAPITALES, S.A. DE C.V., along with affiliated entities, has crossed the notification threshold on June 6, 2024, now holding a combined total of 3.1614% of the voting rights. This change in the distribution of voting rights indicates a new strategic interest by this Mexico-based group in the UK telecommunications giant.
