An announcement from Brookfield Corporation ( (TSE:BN) ) is now available.

On August 13, 2026, Brookfield Corporation reported strong results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, highlighted by a 15% increase in distributable earnings per share before realizations and total consolidated net income of $703 million for the quarter and $3.7 billion over the last twelve months. Distributable earnings before realizations reached $1.4 billion for the quarter and $5.7 billion over the past year, while total distributable earnings rose to $1.5 billion for the quarter and $6.2 billion for the last twelve months, reflecting both organic growth and monetization gains.

Asset Management delivered a 20% increase in fee-related earnings as record quarterly fundraising of $77 billion pushed fee-bearing capital to $672 billion, driven by strong demand for flagship private equity and infrastructure funds and by continued growth in credit. Wealth Solutions earnings grew 23% year-on-year, with insurance assets rising to $191 billion, supported by $5 billion of annuity sales and the first full-quarter contribution from the U.K. insurer Just Group, which added $45 billion of insurance assets following its acquisition.

Brookfield’s operating businesses generated $361 million of distributable earnings in the quarter and $1.5 billion over the last twelve months, underpinned by infrastructure, energy and private equity operations and a real estate portfolio that achieved 6 million square feet of leasing with office net rents 19% above expiring levels and more than 95% occupancy in super-core and core-plus assets. The company advanced major partnerships, including expanding its Bloom Energy data-center fuel cell partnership to $25 billion and securing a $17.5 billion U.S. Department of Energy financing commitment for long-lead equipment tied to large-scale Westinghouse reactors.

Brookfield executed $40 billion of asset sales in the first half of 2026, including sizable transactions across infrastructure, real estate, energy, credit and private equity such as the sale of London’s One Churchill Place and its Multiplex construction business, generating $121 million of realization earnings in the quarter and $520 million over twelve months and moving several funds closer to carried interest realization, with accumulated unrealized carried interest reaching $12.5 billion. The company ended the quarter with a record $210 billion of deployable capital—comprising cash, financial assets, undrawn credit lines and uncalled fund commitments—supported by a conservatively structured balance sheet with long-dated corporate debt, significant financing activity year-to-date and ongoing share repurchases, reinforcing its capacity to invest at scale and return capital to shareholders.

Spark’s Take on BN Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BN is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by financial risk factors—very high leverage and weak cash conversion with negative free cash flow—despite strong operating metrics. Technicals are moderately supportive with price above key moving averages and neutral momentum, while valuation is a notable headwind due to the extremely high P/E and low yield. Earnings call commentary adds support via strong fundraising/distributable earnings momentum and positive guidance.
