Steven S. Reed, the long-serving Chief Legal Officer of BrightSpring Health Services, is set to retire on October 11, 2024. To ensure a smooth handover, he will transition to a senior legal counsel role until March 2025. The company is actively searching for his replacement. As part of his retirement agreement, Reed will be compensated with a monthly salary, a lump-sum payment, and extended benefits, including COBRA premiums. He’s also subject to confidentiality, non-competition, and non-solicitation clauses, with provisions for accelerated vesting of his shares if he’s terminated without cause or resigns for a good reason.
