Botala Energy Ltd. has won a tender to develop a 4MW Solar Power Plant in Botswana, marking a crucial step in its strategy to build a diversified energy portfolio. The project, part of the Serowe Energy Hub, is bolstered by a 25-year CPI-linked Power Purchase Agreement and aims to enhance local community welfare with 1% of revenue dedicated to social programs. Botala, owning a 49% stake, will spearhead construction and operation, furthering its commitment to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
