Bitdeer Technologies ( (BTDR) ) just unveiled an announcement.

In its unaudited results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, Bitdeer reported revenue rising to US$228.8 million from US$155.6 million a year earlier, but cost of revenue climbed faster, resulting in a US$8.5 million gross loss and widening net loss of US$92.3 million versus US$62.9 million. Despite the loss, adjusted EBITDA surged to US$31.1 million, supported by strong growth in self-mining capacity to 73 EH/s, total managed hash rate of 86.1 EH/s, and 2,694 BTC mined, while cash and digital assets balances reached US$496.3 million and US$196.9 million respectively.

Operationally, the quarter underscored Bitdeer’s strategic shift from pure crypto mining to an integrated AI and colocation infrastructure platform, highlighted by a 16‑year, US$4.7 billion AI/HPC data center lease at its Tydal, Norway site and ongoing AI-focused redesigns in U.S. and European facilities. With major online capacity in Texas and Bhutan and multiple new phases in Norway scheduled from late 2026 through 2027, management is positioning the company’s substantial power footprint and SEALMINER fleet as a vertically integrated stack spanning power, hardware, and AI cloud infrastructure, which could alter its risk profile and revenue mix for shareholders over time.

Spark’s Take on BTDR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BTDR is a Neutral.

BTDR’s score is held down primarily by weak financial performance—large losses, significant cash burn, and sharply higher leverage—despite improving revenue momentum. Technicals add additional pressure with the stock trading well below major moving averages. The earnings call provides some offset through strong operational growth signals (mining expansion and accelerating AI cloud ARR), but near-term margin, cash-flow, and financing risks remain the dominant factors.
